I love Easter, it's one of my favorite holidays! However, sometimes the commercialism and fun of Easter traditions like eggs and baskets and bunnies can overshadow the true meaning behind the holiday. So, using the Bible, I chose words, phrases and scriptures that represent the events leading up to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I hope it helps bring special reminders of this holiday into your home... so that while we participate in those fun, timeless traditions, we can also remember the meaning and significance of this special holiday. I also love the how this muted color scheme of Spring added reverence - but the shape of an egg reminds you of not just the Easter in general, but also the symbol of new birth!
