I love to sew. I've sewed my entire life pretty much, to a greater or lesser extent. I was taught by my Mum and myself, with all sorts of classes for fun and to extend my skills along the way.

My careers were in teaching and adult education - I actually used to develop online training before most people even knew what that was! By the time I finished up at work while having my two daughters I knew when I worked again, it would need to be something that was fully me, absolutely my passion.

So, towards the end of 2012 my dreams got a little noisier...and I decided to give this passion of mine a red hot go! I opened my Etsy store and started teaching sewing locally.

I make a range of items inspired by our love of enjoying the outdoors as a family, here in country Victoria, Australia. As a redhead who loves being outside and a mother, being SunSmart and keeping my family sun-safe has become very important to me. This can be seen in my range of SunSmart sun hats, for toddlers through to adults.

I sell at local markets, have a facebook page, website and blog where I share my sewing adventures and beginner sewing tutorials.
