A beautiful handmade cushion. Very clever and thoughtful design. I truly admire the craftsmanship and “art”of it. The only downside for me was that it took twice as long to arrive as it said. I had ordered for a special birthday, specifically because it would be on time. This strategy did not work for me. The product is really lovely and my advice is to order and expect it to take longer than expected and avoid any disappointment.

Is it weird to say you're in love with a pillow? I didn't look at the dimensions, but this is definitely a pillow that can support a lot. It's very well made and a lot of care has gone into it's design and construction. Y'all they're worth the wait.

Hi! I'm telah, the maker behind Fandom Pillows by Heart Felt Design.
The inspiration behind my business started with making Christmas gifts for my children when money was tight.
My friends soon convinced me to open up a shop online.
It's been such a fun experience. I love what I do.
I love getting customer feedback and seeing pictures of my creations in their new homes.

Plush toys, accessories and more for the kid in us all

Heart Felt Design began In October of 2010. Money was really tight, and I was trying to think of some ideas for my kid's Christmas presents and decided to try my hand at making their gifts. I picked up a needle, thread, and some felt, and something just clicked inside of me. I was transported back to some of my earliest memories, sitting next to my grandmother, helping her cut fabric and tie quilts. I would wake up in the early hours of the morning to see her bent over her quilting rack, glasses on the tip of her nose, hand stitching the tiniest details. The sound of her needle and thread punching and pulling through fabric still sounds in my head, and even though she is now gone from this world, I feel so close to her when I sew. I think she would be proud of me.

I, too, stay up late at night after my children are in bed and sew. I like the solitude and quiet of it all. It's a time to relax and unwind from a day of laundry, messy faces, and sticky fingers. Sewing is a therapy of sorts: the repetitive movement and the joy of creating something new out of the simplest of materials.

Whether my inspiration comes from the abundant nature around me, a new fabric, my children, or a fleeting thought in my head, I get so excited about a new idea that I typically stop what I'm doing and sketch it out in my notebook right away. From there, it is a simple process of making pattern pieces, cutting fabric, and a late-night sewing marathon while watching reruns of my favorite show or listening to music.

When I am not sewing, you can often find me playing with my kids, snuggling up on the couch with one of my grandmothers' handmade blankets, watching a movie, or reading a book.
