I still remember how special I felt when my Mum made clothes for me with the fabric I chose. I was really excited to see the change from a piece of fabric becoming my favorite clothes. It's just like a magic.
It didn't take long for me to start crafting and sewing on my own. I learnt a lot from my Mum. It was really lucky having someone equivalent to a teacher so close.

In 2004, I moved to Melbourne Australia, where I still live.
I'm mother of two, a girl and a boy.
Although I've been away from sewing for several years, I've started again once my daughter was born. I made not only clothes but also baby bedding linens and baby cloth nappy liners.

My daughter wore anything I made before she met Disney Princesses.
What a power the Disney company has! My little miss started refusing my handmade casual and natural taste of clothes. Instead, she requested that I make long evening style dresses, so long that they drag on the floor.
I resisted her requests at the beginning but I yeilded to her and made a couple of dresses, featuring Snow White, Sofia the first, and of course, Elsa from Frozen.

In the end, I still wanted to make the style that I liked and share that with people anywhere around the world. This is why I'm here in Etsy.

My shop name "Da bishoo" is a coined word created by my little miss for the sound of "Daijobu" meaning All OK in Japanese. Everything has started for her. This word does not mean anything to anyone but a lot to me.

I sometimes have a stall shop at a local craft market and see mothers who really like my work (the ones with boys are sometimes frustrated they cannot buy it!). The clothes I make are quite feminin and it seems to attract the boys' mothers who've never bought girly products.

I have a son, too, who was born 2013.
I'm yet to make some clothes for him but I'm on the lookout for ideas, I'll give it a try...
