Make a child’s off-road dreams come true with these bed plans. Includes 62 pages of detailed step-by-step instructions. I feel pictures help greatly to describe how to build something, so the plans are full of them. That is why there are so many pages :).

Photos in this listing are of beds I have built along with a sample page from the instructions.

The bed is designed for a twin sized mattress (39”x75”). Overall dimensions of the bed are approximately 6’10”L x 6’W x 4’9”H. Some people have built bed with tires on only one side to save room.

I identify a source of tires in the plans where you may get the tires for free. All other materials may be purchased at your local home improvement store.

As can be seen on the facebook page, some people have modified some of the width dimensions to fit a full size mattress.

If you can cut plywood and 2x4’s you have the skills to make this bed. (recommended tools are mitre saw, circular saw, router, drill, scroll saw, sander... of course there a many ways to make the same cut :) ). Another option would be to take the plans to a friend or local craftsman to build it for you.

Great plans and easy to follow! If you can use a saw and tapemeasure you can build it. A couple pointers i would suggest is I ended up using 6" headlight stickers from summit racing and get a quart of primer when you get your paint.

Fantastic Jeep Bed Plans!!! Our niece made one for her son, with my hubby's help. Super Fun bed. Nephew wanted it painted yellow and he loves it. Hubby sourced tires from a local 4-wheeler lot - no charge as they throw them out anyway. Thanks!

I love the plans for this bed. I downloaded the file and everything printed out great until i got to pages 24-36. They just kept getting cut off. Maybe it was a glitch in the download I am not sure. I tried to print those pages in smaller sizes and it still did the same thing. Every other page besides those pages came out perfect! I am pleased with this product, just not sure what may have happened I ended up going back through those pages and writing down what had been cut off.

I wish I would have known that I was paying for directions and not the bed it self. I Wondering why the bed was so cheap now I know when I email the person I’m getting a bed from I was told to download the file I wish you would have just said then I ordered this last month you could have told me when you emailed me back
