I have a curious mind. Looking for meaning in history, my teacup, and the lives of everyone I meet. In my search, I find stories—twisty-turny complex stories that I long to make simple. When the narrative is obvious, I'm driven to write, but when everything just floats about, a picture is worth a thousand words.

So lately—I'm painting, writing, and thinking about Life's neverending complexities. The challenge I give myself is to take the lighthearted seriously and give the serious a little light. You too? Cool, we'll work on it together.

My days consist of: caring for pets and peeps, learning how to blog, and threatening to write historical novels with a feel-good twist. I'll finish them someday... dagnabbit! I get out the paints when I can, usually late at night when I can listen to movie music on headphones without distractions. This is how I find that "other world". The art I'm sharing here at Etsy has emerged over the last few years, and new ideas continue to tickle my mind. There's a story in it all somewhere, but I think it's for you to tell. Enjoy :)
