Most paintings start with a few messy concept sketches. -
The sketch is refined, and transferred to a nice piece of illustration board or watercolor paper. -
Many hours can go into my larger paintings. -
Alice and the Flowers took me 40 hours, and measures 9x12 inches. -
I keep a lot of my work on the smaller side, so I paint a lot of ACEOs.
