Handcrafted wall art by a female landscape photographer with a passion for the colours of the Scottish Highlands and Islands.

My journey in art started when I was very young when I doodled and drew and painted all the time. I felt destined to be an artist but, like many artists before me, my parents wanted me to have a 'decent job' and Art was not it and Science became my focus. For over 25 years I worked my way up the career ladder to Senior Research Scientist managing global clinical trials but I always kept my hand in at making things.

In 2012 I picked up my camera and over the following eight years I balanced being Mum to two daughters, a high pressure management job and passion for photographing remote places with my camera. I developed a style of landscape photography that appeals to men and women and with my love for making things I had to learn to print these myself.


My Process - Photography, Originality and Printing with Passion!

My Photography is made the old fashioned way, getting up before dawn, travelling with a heavy camera bag to remote places in time for sunrise. I like to stay local use minimal resources and take care about the impact I have on the environment. I spend huge amounts of time researching art and style and working on my portfolio to find the best images to develop into full art pieces.

I love to see the end product of my work printed on beautiful paper or canvas and naturally, being keen to understand and be able to manage the entire process from end to end, I had to learn to print. I researched papers and canvases from many suppliers until I found materials that look fantastic with my intensely coloured artworks.

Originality - Each artwork is completely unique, it is the result of many years invested in my craft and experimentation to create new art that captures the imagination. I have researched every aspect to ensure that I present art to people that has colour and style and creates the WOW gasp from family and friends.

All my Limited Editions are made here in my studio and printed on my huge printer with materials I source from ancient paper mills. These pieces are handmade, signed original artworks on beautiful textured papers that are collectable. I am a top seller on high end curated art galleries Artfinder and Saatchi Art where my Limited Editions are collected by clients around the world. My Open Edition prints on Etsy are simply beautiful copies of the originals made by a team of specialist printers. My Team create these using exactly the same equipment as me and using paper and canvas that I have tried and tested. The results are stunning! Vivid, long lasting prints on beautiful paper but simply more affordable than the Limited Editions. The Team are also working on my new Wallpaper Mural Collection and they frame my open edition prints and digital prints.
