This alternative to our more robust Mama's Organic Belly Butter is as unsmelly as we can get it, and we've packed it with as many mildly scented traditional stretch mark reducers as we could find. So if you're going through that phase when nearly any scent might bring on a new bout of nausea (such as my entire first trimester), then this may be the belly butter for you.
This listing is for a 4oz or 8oz glass jar of Organic Mama's Belly Butter Scent Free. Need a bunch of butter? Get 16 ounces here: www.etsy.com/listing/214596482
Please note your all natural butter may become gritty. Scroll down for more details.
Ingredients: Organic mango butter, organic rosehip seed oil, organic sweet almond oil, organic beeswax, organic grape seed oil, organic castor oil, organic arrowroot powder, and vitamin E.
All of our butters are rich and thick, with no evaporating alcohols or quickly dispersing waters. If you're new to our product line, start with just a finger-full of your butter and rub that puppy in completely: a little bit goes a long way. If you find your skin asking for more after that, by all means dig in. If you use too much at once, you will feel greasy (though it will eventually soak in and your skin will love you for the extra goodness).
If you have any questions, concerns, or comments do not hesitate to contact us at any time.

|| Scent Profile ||
While we've made this as easy on your nose as possible, it's not truly scentless. If you really work your nose you're likely to notice the mild, slightly herbaceous scent on the mango butter and the sweetness of beeswax. So while there is some scent to it, it's not much, and it's about as mild and inoffensive as you can get.
|| Ingredient Details ||
Mango Butter is a soothing, softening, and moisturizing butter that is fairly easily absorbed by your skin. High in stearic acid, and vitamins A, C, and E, mango butter works as an excellent antioxidant helping your skin to recover from the detrimental effects of the suns rays as well as aging itself. Many have found mango butter to make a powerful anti-wrinkle and stretch mark salve.
Rosehip Oil, chock full of antioxidants and essential fatty acids, is thought by many to be a modern day miracle worker, considered useful in treating myriad skin conditions including stretch marks, UV damage, scars, eczema, dryness, wrinkles, and more.
Sweet Almond Oil is rich in fatty acids and vitamin E. This skin softener helps your skin retain its natural moisture levels and may aid in the reduction of flaky, dry skin. Likely due to its vitamin E content, sweet almond oil is often regarded as useful for scar and stretch mark reduction.
Beeswax is a powerful healing emollient known for it antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties. Rich in vitamin A, this protective wax helps seal moisture into the outer layers of skin while still allowing your dermis to breathe.
Grape seed oil is high in beta-carotene and vitamins D, C, E, and rich in fatty acids. Extremely easily absorbed by the skin, grape seed oil works well for oily skin and helps to balance oily and dry patches on the face. The high linoleic acid content in grape seed oil helps to give it its anti-inflammatory, anti-allergen, acne reductive, and moisture retentive properties. Densely packed with antioxidants, grape seed oil has long been used to reduce wrinkles and stretch marks.
Castor Oil is known to inhibit the growth of bacteria and is believed to have great anti-viral properties. It is an excellent anti-oxidant that contains many compounds thought to prevent early signs of aging and may aid in the reduction of scars and stretch marks.
Arrowroot powder helps create a lasting silky smooth skin feel as well as prevent your butter from becoming gritty.
Vitamin E has long been used for its healing and moisturizing properties, and has the added benefit of working as a natural preservative.
|| Shelf Life ||
Since there is absolutely nothing artificial and no preservatives except for the natural preserving properties of vitamin E, please keep in mind that this lotion will not keep forever. While the oils and butters in this lotion are known to be quite stable, we still recommend you use your lotion within eight months, perhaps longer if you keep it in the fridge (keep in mind it will get fairly firm if kept in such a cold environment). Your lotion should be kept out of direct sunlight.
This lotion may liquefy in hot (over 80 F) environments. Liquefaction will in no way harm your lotion, and simply tossing it in the fridge overnight will bring it back to its intended texture. Please keep in mind that shipping to or through hot climates, particularly in the summer months, may result in a liquefied lotion.
|| All Natural Butters and Grittiness ||
-We now use arrowroot powder to help prevent grittiness-
We've come to the conclusion that despite our best efforts we can not guarantee that your all natural butter will arrive to you and remain, over time, rich and creamy. Due to the nature of the natural butters we use and the fact that we don't add any artificial stabilizers, your butter may become gritty.
This grittiness appears to affect a small, but not insignificant percent of customers who order our butters. It can vary in degree from just slightly, to almost sand-like. This grittiness in no way affects the natural healing properties of your butter and will almost always dissolve shortly after contact with your warm skin.
If your butter becomes gritty, you can simply continue using the butter as is, or remelt and re-set your butter to bring it back to its proper texture. This can be done by warming your butter carefully in a hot water bath until it has completely melted and then placing you butter in the refrigerator for a night or two.
You can minimize the chances of your butter becoming gritty by avoiding temperature fluctuations and keeping your butter at or below room temperature. Your butter may arrive melted as we can not control shipping temperature; If this occurs simply pop your butter in the refrigerator for a night or two.
