The Hemingway Wall Mount Bookcase is thoughtfully constructed using stunning, solid and authentic reclaimed wood--history has been good to this piece.

•The standard unit will have 3/4” pipe and 5 full-length shelves. All other units are custom-message us prior to ordering to customize!

•This unit does not require floor mounting-the flanges simply rest on the floor for added stability. It does require wall mounting at the top, and for larger units, at the midpoint.

• Each unit may have 2-6 vertical pipe sports, depending on the size of the piece.

•Standard spacing between shelves is 11.5", with the first shelf 20”- 24" from the floor.

•Shelf depth varies up to 1" from listed dimensions due to material variances (7-9" or 9-11"). Shelf thickness varies from 3/4” to 1.5” depending on the reclaimed material on hand.

•Wood species may vary from unit to unit and may include Douglas fir, oak, maple, oak or pine. Please message us for custom options!

•We can customize this piece to suit any space. We offer lengths up to 20’.

• Custom orders and/or “made to order” items can be cancelled up to 48hrs after ordering. After this time, cancellations are not accepted
• Acceptance of all cancellation requests are subject to shop discretion and order processing status.

RETURNS

We do not accept returns on custom orders, or personalized products.

• Returns are only accepted within 7 days of product delivery.
• Returns requests must be initiated via Esty messaging, no other method will be honored.
• Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. If the product(s) qualified for free shipping, buyer is also responsible for the actual outbound shipping or freight costs, and that amount will be deducted from the product refund.
• We recommend you insure your return as we are not responsible if a shipping vendor misplaces your return.
• All items must be returned in original, unused condition in the original packaging with all packing materials.
• All returns are subject a 20% restocking fee in addition to shipping fees.
• All returns will be inspected upon receipt by our shop, and only after the inspection is complete will the appropriate refund balance be issued.

Our standard finish is a zero-VOC, non-toxic and sustainable natural oil finish that is easy to maintain and food safe. It is a matte finish, doesn’t require a topcoat, and it is available in any of our 6 color options as well as custom colors.

We also offer a low-VOC clear satin finish with a conventional stain if requested.

Our outdoor pieces are finished with a UV-resistant natural oil or clear varnish for maximum resilience and easy maintenance.

Each piece we build is handcrafted using salvaged or reclaimed wood, unless the listing or custom order specifies otherwise.

Reclaimed or salvaged wood is defined broadly, but our definition is lumber that has been re-purposed (barn wood, etc) or salvaged lumber, rescued from trees that fell due to natural causes or that had to be removed. This material would other wise be chipped, burned or discarded, but we and our local partners step in, cut and mill the logs, kiln dry the lumber and use it to create our beautiful products! We source our lumber from local sawmills and all of our wood is 100% sustainable, most coming from within our county.

We are a husband and wife team and we build each piece by hand! We don’t carry an inventory and we source all of our materials locally from sustainable sources (or we salvage them ourselves!). Our lead time is typically 7-12 weeks depending on the season and our current projects, as well as the customization of your order. Great looking product, easy to assemble!!

Very deceiving. The picture above and the picture on the instructions did not match what I received. I received a smaller set. Mine has only two pipes so the shelves are not as wide nor did my set include the space in the middle (apparently I didn't read the write up correctly).

We reached our right away to help Michael, and he realized that the listing description explains that units will vary based on the dimensions chosen. He ordered our smallest size and was expecting a much larger unit. We discussed his options for return and exchange and he decided to keep the smaller unit he had ordered.
