Growing up, I loved creating things and in college I discovered graphic design as the perfect way for me to express my creativity. I worked for many years making educational computer games for kids which was a lot of fun but what I really wanted to do was create fun paper products such as address labels and invitations.

I had to put everything on hold after our first child was born with many medical complications. For years my life was filled with hospitals, doctors, various therapists, specialists, and at-home nurses. I am happy to say that my son has overcome many of his initial medical conditions so we don't have to always live in the medical world any more.

Now that my son is doing so much better and our beautiful, healthy daughter is old enough to entertain herself at times throughout the day, I've been able to get back to creating.

Etsy has provided me with the opportunity to combine my creative skills with the entrepreneurial spirit that I had at a young age when I set up shop in my living room selling my latest creations. I opened my Etsy shop in October 2012 and I've been having so much fun coming up with new designs and illustrations. You won't find any clip art used in my shop, just fun, original illustrations that will make you smile.
