DOUBTS AND FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

- HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD

You can use a tape measure (or a length of ribbon that you will have to hold up to a tape measure). Place the tape measure or ribbon around your head above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. Basically you need to measure your head exactly where the hat will sit. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size.

Measurements in inches and cm:

21" --- 53/54 cm
21.5" --- 54/55 cm
22" --- 56 cm
22.5" --- 57/58 cm
23" --- 58/59 cm
23.5" --- 60 cm
24" --- 61 cm

- IS NECESSARY KNOW THE SIZE OF YOUR HEAD?

 You don´t need to know the size of your head to buy some headpieces like pillbox, saucer hats, veiled fascinator ... because they are attached to your head by a headband or an elastic band.

- HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE A HEADPIECE ?

We need between 7 and 20 days to create a headpiece, it depends on many factors.
If you are in a hurry please contact me, it may be possible to accommodate a 'rush order'. There will be a non-refundable 15% charge for a 'rush order' (within 7 working days) , please contact us to see if we can accommodate your request and to set up your order.

- COLOUR MATCHING

I always try to do my best to show the original colors of the headpieces , but as you know color may vary from a computer to another , or suppliers fabric batches. This is not classed as faulty or a defect . You can request swatches.

- CARE INSTRUCTIONS

.Fascinators :
Please make sure to avoid direct contact with water , perfumes and chemical products ... because as you know velvet fabric, silks , feathers... are very delicate.

For a longer life of your purchase avoid direct and lasting contact with sun when you are not wearing it.

.Felt hats :
Dust your hat occasionally with a soft-bristled brush. Stiff bristled brushes will tear the felt. Use a dark-colored brush for dark hats and a light colored brush for light hats.
Furthermore, brush your hat in a counter-clockwise direction, against the lay of the nap, so that the felt is worked well and dust is best removed.

.Felt Headpieces :
Use occasionally a lint roller to remove dust.

.Straw hats and fascinators :
Most of our items are not waterproof, It is important not to get your straw hat wet, as it will lose its shape.

- RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

For refunds you have to contact with me within 10 days (Europe) after shipping date. For refunds to customers of non european countries will be 20 days after shipping date. After these dates I will not make any refund , because I can not know if the customer has worn or not the headpiece.

The buyer must pay the shipping cost of the refund item and the refund will be only made if the item arrives in the original package and it is not damaged or worn.

In case you ask for a refund, I will not refund you the shipping cost , because I paid for it . In case the product has "free shipping" in its description I will not refund 25% of the price of the product in order to recover part of the shipping because my shipments are always sent by express courier company and it costs a lot of money even if it is not specified on the product.

Custom orders can not be refunded.
