INFORMATION WE COLLECT

To fulfill your order, you must provide Lollipop Bead Shoppe with certain information (which you authorized Etsy to provide), such as your name, email address, shipping address, payment information, and the details of the product(s) that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide any additional information, personal or not, (for a custom order, for example), if you contact us directly (via email or Etsy convo).


WHY WE NEED YOUR INFORMATION AND HOW WE USE IT

Lollipop Bead Shoppe relies on a number of legal bases to collect, utilize, and share your information, including the following:

• as needed, to provide services, such as when we fulfill your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support.
• when you have provided your favorable consent, which you may rescind at any time, such as by signing up for our mailing list (newsletter).
• if necessary to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or in connection with a legal claim. Such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law in the U.S.A.
• as required for the purpose of legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as: a) providing and improving our services (we do use your information to provide the services you requested) and b) compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use where we use your information as needed to comply with the regulations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.


INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

Our customer’s information and its security are incredibly important and an absolute priority in our business. We share your personal information for very limited reasons and only in particular circumstances, such as these:

• Etsy: We share information with Etsy, as necessary to provide you with our services and comply with the regulations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
• Service providers: We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to our shop, such as a third party courier. We will share your personal information with these third parties, only as needed to perform these services that you have requested.
• Business transfers: If Lollipop Bead Shoppe is to be sold or merged, we may disclose your information as part of the transaction. Only to the extent permitted by law.
• Compliance with laws: LBS may collect, utilize, retain, and share your information if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce agreements, terms, and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) to protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers or others.


DATA RETENTION

Lollipop Bead Shoppe retains your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with services and as described in our Privacy Policy. However, we may also be required to retain this information to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. We generally keep your data for approximately seven (7) years to comply with the United States laws and regulations (e.g. tax laws).


TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION OUTSIDE THE EU

It is likely that we will keep and handle your information through third-party hosting in the US (or other jurisdictions). This means that we may transfer your personal information to a territory with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If we are deemed to transfer your information will be stored with trusted companies. We will rely on companies such as Privacy Shield.

• Access: You have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information we keep about you by contacting us at any time, using the contact information below.
• Alter, limit, and delete: You have the right to alter, limit the use of, or delete your personal information. Absent certain circumstances, (e.g. where we are required to store data for legal reasons) we will delete your personal information upon request.
• Oppose: You may be opposed to (i) the processing of some of your information based on legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from us after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, we will delete your personal information unless we have legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
• Complaints: If you reside in the European Union (EU) and wish to raise a concern about our use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you do have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
