I was trawling the internet for a felted penguin for my grandson to put on the tree at Christmas as he is obsessed with penguins. This is by far the best one. He is really well made with wonderful detail. He is very realistic which is what I wanted and I know he will be loved for years to come. Very talented, highly recommended.

Needle Felting

I discovered needle felting quite by chance in 2012 when I was working for Monmouthshire Youth Service.

I have always had a love of drawing and making creatures and I found that wool was a wonderful medium to work with, combining both my passion for art and the natural world. I enjoy making detailed replicas of real animals, but I also Love inventing my own little beasts, making crazy costume and generally experiment with the possibilities of wool.

I make all my items from wool that I have processed myself. I buy raw fleeces and wash, card and dye the wool in my kitchen ready for wet felting, needle felting and even spinning!

I am on a felting Journey, exploring the natural world through the medium of wool!

Please be careful when washing felted items. Washing felt in the washing machine will cause it to shrink. If the item needs to be washed, it is best to just dab it with a damp cloth.
