Care instructions
14k gold filled will tarnish over time
Silver will tarnish
You may clean these with a polishing cloth or jewelry cleaner but keep any gemstones away from the cleaner especially opals.
You may want to consider investing an upgrade to Sterling Silver or 14k Gold if you do not want your jewelry to tarnish over time
Caring for your jewelry:
Handcrafted jewelry is delicate and should be handled with care. Do not shower, swim or get your jewelry wet. Sterling silver is a precious metal and will naturally tarnish when it is exposed to air. To help keep its shine, keep it in an airtight plastic bag when you are not wearing it.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE, WARRANTY AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
BRACELETS- are high wear and if worn frequently need regular maintenance
We recommend restringing ALL bracelets every 6 months even if they appear to be intact and wearing well.

I recommend having all BEADED and KNOTTED necklaces re-strung or knotted every year
Chain and wrap necklaces should be evaluated every 2 years for maintenance.

We love both Australian and Ethiopian opals!
Ethiopian Welo opals are beautiful and high grades have amazing color play. These newer mined opals ( versus Australian) are very porous and they absorb oils, make-up, lotions, tanning sprays, and salty sweat very easily. Do not shower or swim in these opals. Cleanse only with a microfiber cloth. They are truly beautiful but one must use extreme care to retain the opalescence and color play inherent in their nature. Avoid water, sweat, perfume and any lotions or oils coming in contact with the opals.
