Frequently asked questions

What is enamel?

Enamel is a glass in a powdered or liquid form which, when heated turns molten when applied to various metals. Enamel can be kiln fired or torch fired and once it cools it becomes a solid and vibrant colour.

How do I care for my enamel pieces?

Due to enamel being glass, it can be prone to shattering and breakages if dropped although this rarely happens.

Bowls should be hand washed only and carefully dried with a soft cloth.

Can a piece of jewellery be made in another colour?

The answer is YES absolutely. Feel free to message me and I will be happy to discuss any preferences you may have.

Will each piece be replicated exactly the same?

I will endeavour to create the same item you see in the photo if it is not already made up. However, some techniques I use will always create a different end result ensuring that each piece is unique to you.

Care instructions

Copper and sterling silver tend to tarnish over time but they can both be easily cleaned using appropriate cleaning solutions, many of which are easily available in hardware stores

Always use a soft cloth when cleaning exposed areas, never use abrasive items against the metal or the enamel.
