I have been working with my felting colleagues in Nepal to design and make some amazing brand new playmat designs right now!! 😃
They are now HERE!! We now have some brand new beautiful Rainbow Colour Teaching mats, Autumn mats and Seaside mats, gorgeous River mats, Blue Lagoon mats and Fire mats. Some new Starburst designs in different colourways with matching felted bowls are coming soon! 🤩

SHIPPING INCREASE TO USA 😭
If you are outside the UK, please contact me to discuss shipping before ordering! I have had to regrettably make the sad decision to take America off my list of shipping destinations. This is not because it is not possible, but simply because of the outrageous price increases for shipping (even using a courier, a medium parcel has gone from £12 to £25) which has become acutely embarrassing to keep having to explain!!!
However, if you're in USA and are prepared to pay up to £25-30 for a medium package and up to £60 for a large one, please let me know and I can still arrange it easily enough for you.

I usually work on orders Friday to Sunday, since I look after children outside my home Mon to Thurs. Therefore to receive your order faster, please place it before a Friday! 🙏 Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be worked on the following weekend.

Because of my ongoing childcare work commitments, I have had to discontinue some of my more time consuming items, such as detailed pegdoll animals and large playsets with caves and multiple characters that you may have seen in my shop in the past. At the moment I am keeping to the items that are quick to make or process for you, as an alternative to having to close my shop because of my other work commitments!

Our toys are not made for profit, but to support our sponsored children. They're not made to sell a TV series. Not led by fashion or the latest 'trend'. Not gender-specific. Not age-specific. THE GRASS ROOTS REVOLUTION

I have seen something very exciting happening in recent years. Led by children, influenced by both David Attenborough and the Waldorf Steiner movement, and followed by enlightened, gentle parents who realise what their children really need to truly nurture their hearts and minds, there is a quiet revolution going on in playrooms up and down the world. More and more parents are coming to me (and other natural toy makers) asking for a way to swap their heaps of throwaway plastic junk for beautiful natural wood and wool playthings that their children will truly treasure. Wanting to do their bit for the planet and avoid plastic pollution. Seeking toys that last and are treasured, to wean their darlings off the screens and coax them back to nature, where they will truly flourish and be nurtured, allowed to have a sustaining, wholesome childhood as our parents and grandparents once enjoyed....but with all the up to date knowledge of child development, comfort and opportunities afforded to them by the modern world.

Using my 25+ years of childcare experience, I have delved deep into the minds and hearts of small children and, working closely with them, developed a collection of simple, versatile, open ended playthings that deeply engage them in hours of endless creative play. These tried and tested well-loved toys are now made available for you to share the joy with your own children!

In the words of Friedrich Froebel:
"Play is the highest expression of human development.... the free expression of what is in the child's soul. It induces joy, freedom contentment... peace with all the world."

This is what I strive to nurture.

All my toys have been thoroughly tested by children of all ages, whose ideas and feedback I incorporate into each piece. Each toy is a timeless classic, created to encourage your child's precious imagination to blossom and grow; they are totally open ended and flexible, so can be played with in multiple different ways and grow with your child, then be ready to pass on to the next generation. I love watching children find new ways to play with these toys at different ages!

Most of my toys are fabulous for storytelling and fantasy play, helping children act out their innermost thoughts, feelings and dreams.

Every piece is one of a kind - custom made to order, especially for its new owner. I love incorporating any ideas or preferences you may have, to create a unique bespoke original gift. I will stay in touch with you throughout the creation of your new toys, to make sure they are exactly as you want. I care deeply about every customer; your happiness is my priority.

Love is at the heart of everything I do. Since God has given me the ability to be creative and to have a great love for children, those gifts must be given back. Hence all my toys are created by hand with all my heart, using great care and attention to detail. I pray that love will spill over into your child as they hold their new doll to their heart, or play peacefully with their new toys.

I also love how this passion of mine can also benefit children far away. Please know that when you purchase a toy from Little Peeps Creations, a large percentage of my takings pays for the sponsorship of 4 children through Compassion, a Christian organisation that sets up world class Child Development Programs in poverty stricken countries and matches each child with a loving sponsor. These children are fed, educated and nurtured by caring mentors, doctors and teachers to pull themselves out of poverty, discover their gifts and gain new opportunities to better their lives... and eventually support their families. Just like the children I work with in person, their special gifts are nurtured and encouraged.
