Eco Felt is a type of synthetic felt, made from recycled plastic bottles. It has many of the same properties as wool felt, but is non itchy, doesn't cause an allergic reaction, lasts a long time without pilling or losing its shape, and is an economical alternative to natural fibers.

For eco felt and wool felt products, it's best to spot clean or hand wash with cool water and a little bit of mild detergent. If item becomes soaked, roll up in a towel and gently squeeze out any excess water. Lay flat to dry, reshape as necessary while drying. "Pilling", i.e. buildup of little frizzies on surface of the fabric, can be removed by carefully trimming with a pair of embroidery scissors, or with a de-pilling tool.
