After back problems began, at age 19, I had to make adjustments to my life plan. The changes happened slowly and I suffered for a long time with Anxiety/Depression in addition to chronic pain. I had a baby boy in 2006 and I started paper crafting. In the fall of 2010 I took a class in Art Journaling by Dina Wakley. Everything changed. Also I was unable to continue with the part-time job I had. I spent my days creating as much as my health would allow while my son was at school. My husband supported me in traveling across the country to take classes by my favorite artists.

I love to create in many types of media. I have slowly realized that I can part with some of my creations. I take as many classes/workshops as I can and some of my finished pieces are inspired by another artist/designer. I try to credit that artist (if applicable) in the description. However, the artwork is made by me.

I have branched out into stencil design because they are either designs I want to use or designs that I hope will appeal to beginner mixed media artists.

Some of my items have prices that are higher then my competitors" because that is the minimum amount that I need to be able to part with them. For now, I am ok with them not selling! But if someone likes it enough to pay the full price, I will happily send it to a new home.
