Announcement    As we stand on the precipice of a brand new year, I want to take a moment and thank all of you that supported my art this year, and all years prior.
When I started this journey 10 years ago, I didn't really have a plan for where it could lead. I just knew that making these ornaments was so much fun. I love the research and the process.
This probably will sound corny, but I think about who's going to receive these ornaments when I make them. I've decided that what I really do is create memories. every time that ornament comes out of the box at Christmas and goes on the tree the person received it remembers getting it from that one person that one Christmas. I think this is my favorite part.
But, here we are 10 years later and still going strong. And I couldn't have done it without you.
I especially want to thank my husband, Bill, who is my logistics and shipping and problem solving wizard. He also does most of the cooking in the months of October, November and December when I'm busy in the studio until way past dark .
Not only does he lovingly pack each ornament, but keeps tabs on inventory, labeling, and shipping supplies. He is the best. And I would like to thank my fuzzy BFF, Oliver, for keeping me company in the studio and keeping my feet warm under my desk.
