I have never been taught how to sketch. To be honest, I never even mastered proper pencil grasp. I just picked one up & my hand felt complete, so I gripped it tightly until it felt like an added appendage.
I've lived like that since.
My pieces are simple, birthed from inspiration & emotion. They often don't turn out the way I initially planned, but there's beauty in that process.
I describe my works as gentle invitations to quiet your soul in a world full of noise, & in that, I leave them open. Many do not have facial features, so as to welcome you into them. You are free to see what you need to see.
I believe that God created me to have this passion, & I have seen art influence hearts countless times, so, knowing that, I pray over this space, these pieces. That they would meet you where you are & say something to you; something your heart needs to hear.

Every item is the original work - no copies or scans are made (though sometimes I do a few drafts to get something right).
