Yes! Prior to sending you the final PNG image, I will email you an image proof in PDF format with your filter personalized as you request. Unlimited # of changes can be requested (within reason) if the proof doesn't appear as expected. I'll be happy to use one of your personal photos in the proof if you'd like :) Just ask!!!

I include a very subtle semi-transparent dark gradient behind the wording to ensure that the wording and the design remains visible against white backgrounds. I have personally submitted and field tested all my filter designs to ensure they have been approved prior to posting any listing.

I have seen it take anywhere from 5 minutes to 36 hours for filters to be approved by Snapchat. To ensure you have sufficient time, purchasing your filter at least 4 days before your event and uploading your filter at least 2 days before your event is strongly recommended!

Unfortunately, Snapchat does not allow hashtags to be included on filters. However we can include your hashtag word/phrase without the ‘#’ symbol. For example: #MJWedding2020 would not be allowed but MJWedding2020 would be allowed. For Snapchat's official submission guidelines, visit:

Please make sure you have uploaded the final PNG file I emailed to you and not the PDF proof you initially received from me (you can check this by looking at the file name suffix). I also recommend uploading the PNG file using your desktop or your laptop and not from your mobile device. If you have followed the step-by-step instructions I sent and verified the above mentioned, please forward me the decline email from Snapchat & I will help resolve the issue.

If your geofilter is live, first try force closing the Snapchat app and restarting. Also, try disconnecting from wi-fi and reconnecting. This usually fixes the issue.

There is an additional fee that Snapchat charges to upload custom geofilters. Fee amount depends on the size of location and length of time you want the geofilter available. 20,000 square ft (minimum size) for 8-hours usually costs $5. Don’t worry, Snapchat tells you exactly how much it’ll cost you before you upload. If you want your geofilter available at different physical locations (wedding ceremony & wedding reception), you will need to upload two separate geofilters to Snapchat which are two separate fees.
