Hello and welcome to The CraftE Corner Shop! My name is Candace and I'm the crafty lady behind the crafts. I couldn't be more excited about opening my shop and working on more projects! :)

I grew up watching my mom sew and doing all different kinds of craft projects. I use to love to draw and color and make music but never really thought I would love being crafty in the same way she was. We would do a few projects together and I would watch her work her magic with all of her other projects. I guess I learned a thing or 2 along the way. As years passed, I started doing some projects on my own, just a few little things here and there. Although I couldn't really say what the first thing I made really was, I thank my mom so much for secretly showing me how to be crafty.

I have a passion and love for baking and decorating cakes. So that's more of the direction I went towards, making custom cakes for weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, holidays and more. I became crafty in my own way on cakes and came up with different and unique ways of doing things for them just from what I had learned from my mom.

As I get older, I realize I am becoming more like my mom and I absolutely love doing my own craft projects. I love finding new things to try and see if I can make them. I made my own wine bottle tiki torches, I did an antiquing project on an item for my aunt, I've made a few decorations for my little cousins room and much more. Ever since I had my little boy, I've started doing items for him, I made and painted the letters above his crib, I did all of the decorations for his first birthday party and I made his smash cake outfit and that's where the lumberjack outfit came into play. I had never sewn in my life and I was determined to make his outfit. I bought a sewing machine and learned how to use it on my own, then I figured out how to make it, so I sat down and made it. My very first attempt went great, almost stabbed my finger, lol, but I got it done and it turned out great.

So I decided I would start custom making them for other people looking to make their babies birthdays or any other day very special. I wanted everything to be perfect for my sons first birthday and I want to do the same for you. I want to make your items perfect to help make your event perfect and make it perfect for who ever you are purchasing it for.
