Frequently asked questions

Sizing details

All sizes listed are for the image itself. Photographs are sold unframed and unmatted. Please see the drop down boxes in each listing for medium to large sizes available. Smaller sizes can be ordered using the listings in the "Additional Sizes" section.

Custom and personalized orders

I welcome custom orders. If you have a particular size in mind, or would like a custom wood block, please contact me and I will help you in any way I can.

Wood Photo Blocks and Panels

Wood mounted photographs offer a unique, ready to hang, alternative to traditional framing. All wood mounts are handmade, by me, in my Chicago studio.

Please see the "Wood Mounted Photography" section for the sizes available; all of my images are available as wood mounts. Please note, some images are square and some are rectangular. It is always best to mount them the same way, to avoid cropping, however if you would like to explore other options, please feel free to contact me.

Care for Wood Photo Blocks and Panels

Please note, like any art, the wood blocks and panels can be damaged by excessive handling, dropping them, extreme weather, etc. For proper care, please be advised of the following:

- They should be dusted with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use cleaning products or damp cloths on them.

- I do not recommend keeping these blocks in a very steamy bathroom because it will effect the coating on the block.

- All of my images are printed on extremely durable, archival Lustre paper however, like any art, long term exposure to direct sunlight is not advisable.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Gift wrapping is not available however, within the United States, if your purchase is marked as a gift, the enclosed invoice will include no pricing information. For shipments outside of the US, by law, all packages must be marked as merchandise, and the value of the package is a legal requirement on the customs forms. Packages can only be marked as "gifts" if it is a gift between the named sender and the recipient. Your order will be handled accordingly.

Returns of Canvas and Extra Large Prints

Please note, canvases and extra large prints (24x24 and larger) are considered custom printed items. Due to the expense of printing them, they are not returnable. If damage occurs in transit, you can contact me for a replacement. A photograph of the damage will be needed for insurance purposes.
