Following my dream to be a potter. After loosing a close friend to cancer in 2014 I decided life is too short not to be doing something I'm passionate about. In 2015, I left my 9 - 5 job to start my pottery business and have never looked back.

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

Hand Wash verses Dishwasher
Hand washing is always kinder to hand made ceramics as the chemicals in dishwashers can be very harsh. My pottery is high fired meaning that it will most likely be fine in the dishwasher (I put my pottery in the dishwasher at home) however as I am a small maker I can not test my pottery in a range of dishwashers so I advise to hand wash if at all possible or alternate between the dishwasher and hand washing.

Microwaves
My pottery is high fired so will most probably be fine in the microwave however I am not able to test a range of microwaves so just to be on the safe side I advise to avoid using them in the microwave.

Oven Use
Alway heat food in ceramics from a cold oven.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I try to minimise my impact on the planet. As much as possible I use recycled cardboard boxes when shipping. I always use bio degradable packaging peanuts made from corn never plastic. I have exchanged bubble wrap for a recyclable paper alternative. Please reuse, recycle the packaging your ceramics come in or compost it carefully.

I happily offer a gift wrap service. Please add the 'Gift Wrap' listing to your basket and checkout at the same time as your purchase.

Please add any message you would like in the card in the buyers notes section.

shipping Pottery

I've spent a lot of time testing packaging to ensure your pottery gets to you in pristine condition. I carefully package every piece before it is shipped. I use a paper alternative to bubble wrap, tissue paper and eco void fill peanuts. I double box items where possible.

Whilst every care is taken to get your pottery to you within the estimated time frame, I can not be held responsible for delays with postal services or customs. If in the unlikely event your item does not arrive or arrives damaged please contact me before leaving a review- in the first instance I will replace the item or if that’s not possible I will issue a refund.

I am a small maker and sometimes mistakes happen- I will do everything I can to make things right.

International Shipping

Ceramics are heavy items and need to be packed carefully to keep them safe in transit. I try very hard to keep shipping prices to a minimum. I will only charge what it costs me to ship items plus a small amount for the packaging- I do not make any profit on postage.
