My passion for creating has been with me since I was a child. Over the years I have taken an interest in all sorts of arts/crafts such as needlework, macrame, basket weaving, sewing, beading, ceramics, floral design, rubber stamping, scrap booking, card making, papercrafts and jewelry making. To be honest, there aren't many arts/crafts that I haven't tried. Each time I took on a different art/craft, I would use my new skills to make some Christmas gifts. In my early adult years, this was a great way to be able to give a nice gift on a tight budget.
In 2006, a friend invited me over to a jewelry party where we chose beads from her stash and made bracelets. That's when my love of jewelry making began. Then in 2007, I made a lot of sterling silver beaded jewelry and raised hundreds of dollars to support our local Relay for Life event for the American Cancer Society. The next milestone came several years ago when I began selling my items on a consignment basis in a local shop and when friends or family would request them.
