Ricucci comes from Turin, Italy. It is where he learned the Craft of Hat making while working for a century old company providing costumes for movies and theatre productions.
The first Hats made by Ricucci were for the opera piece, Turandot. The creations were worn by characters, Ping, Pang and Pong.


In order to achieve this design, Ricucci used techniques and forms from the 1930's, which are contemporary to the very first production of Turandot when it opened at La Scala in the late 1920's.

Later on, Ricucci draw the attention of the Fashion world, and notably worked on Trussardi shows, men's and women's, showing his versatility as a designer.

Ricucci is committed to using only old techniques and displaying the original craft of millinery. Using only wooden blocks and natural stiffener, the designs of Ricucci are infused with tradition.

Moving to London in 2012, Ricucci honed his skills working for another master milliner - Mr. Philip Treacy.
Now based in London, Ricucci encapsulate the essence of Millinery Techniques, a sartorial flair as well as an Italian sensibility.
