As a child, my love for horses and books ignited my imagination. I would write stories, create crafts with my mother, and immerse myself in the world of acting. Pursuing my passion, I studied theatre arts in college while enjoying the company of my horse, pony, cats, kittens, dogs, and parakeets. Throughout my life, my love for the arts and nature remained constant, inspiring me to embark on a new journey.

Chesapeake Shoppe began as an idea between my husband and me. We longed for a shop that could capture the essence of the Eastern Shore, but time constraints held us back. Determined to bring our dream to life, I decided to start small by honing my skills in a craft that would allow me to express my creativity.

Many of these creations are influenced by the mesmerizing blue waves, tranquil ocean sands, and delicate seashells found along the shoreline.
