Where can I find my tracking number?
Two emails with your tracking # will be sent to you the moment I print your postage. There is also a tracking button on your Purchases page, and there will be a link to your online invoice in the convo I send to you when I thank you for your purchase. :)
I see you provide flat rate shipping, please explain what this means?
Everything on your invoice will ship for one s/h fee, and I pay the shipping for orders over $35. I have not increased prices to fund this program; it is truly free shipping. There are optional upgrades to USPS Priority and USPS Express that you will see once items are in your cart. For orders returned for any reason, the original postage is not refundable, since it was already spent and thus irretrievable. Please ask any questions ahead of time, to be sure these items will be the right ones for your projects; I am always happy to help brainstorm with you. :)
How quickly do you ship? Where are you?
Typically very quickly! Orders received before 4 AM EST will typically ship same-day, and orders received after 4 AM EST may ship same-day or may ship next-day, depending on that particular day’s work flow. The earlier you order, the better I can plan ahead and prepare. I use USPS Ground Advantage, and there are optional USPS Priority and Express Shipping upgrades once items are in your cart. Customized orders may follow different time frames, and you and I will go over those details before you order. I am in Massachusetts.
How long is the actual shipping time?
The shipping is handled by the USPS. If you need more information than what you see on the tracking, please ask your local postmaster. They are the shipping experts, especially for your particular destination.
If an order is refused or misdelivered and sent back to me, the buyer will still be responsible for paying the s/h fees and any other fees I may be charged to get the package back into my hands. Therefore, please be very sure that you want these goods, you will provide me with your full and correct shipping address, you will provide a safe and secure delivery destination, and you be willing to contact your local postmaster and get involved in the event of a delivery issue, in the rare event that this occurs.
What if I need more/less than what you have listed? What about CPSIA compliance?
Please convo me before ordering so that we can talk about your request. CPSIA: My supplies are not intended for use in children’s jewelry.
I live outside the US, what about VAT or customs fees?
At this time, I am only shipping to US destinations.
If I mark the invoice as a 'gift', what does that mean?
I sell supplies, so marking an order as a gift means not to include an invoice. I don’t include invoices anyways, in order to save paper. You will receive an email with your invoice, and it is also available online. I use cute and recycled materials to bundle your items for transit, but I don't use gift boxes, ribbons or provide gift wrapping services.
Regarding the shop policies, which are 'intimate items' in your shop?
Earring related items (ear wires, posts, backings). I can't take them back due to health/sanitation reasons. 'Intimate items' was the closest phrase provided, so I had to go with it. :)
I provided the wrong address when I ordered, help!
If this happens, please notify me ASAP. If the order hasn't shipped, I can manually write in your new address.
If the order has already shipped, it is up to you to contact your old and new postmasters, and follow their advice. They are the shipping experts and will know what to do.
If a package is returned to me, I will notify you immediately and I will gladly send it to the correct address once you purchase new postage for it. If I don’t hear back from you after a reasonable time, I will refund the order minus the original shipping fees, which by then are unretrievable.
How do you actually pack your orders? Can I recycle the packaging?
I will pack your order carefully with efficiency and transit-durability in mind. I make the packaging cute but not wasteful or superfluous. I don’t include paper invoices in order to save paper, and the information is all online anyways. I encourage you to reuse as much of it as possible, and hopefully recycle the rest. Everything you order will be fully documented, so you will always know what’s what, and this makes reordering easy.
