SIZE: The bat wingspan measures about .5" wide and the body is about .25" tall. Post is 3/8" long with a single notch to keep earring back secure.

I carefully hand carved these flying bats from jewelers wax, somehow not losing those tiny ears! (You can see the original carving in the last photo.) Then, I made a mold so I can make many pairs of earrings. After I get them back from my caster and clean them up, I solder on all the posts and then oxidize the sterling so you can really see the crevices and details.

CARE: Clean additional tarnish from your earrings with any commercial jewelry cloth. Liquid cleaners will remove all oxidation from the details.

Jewelry that needs polishing comes with a polishing swatch and care info on a card. Most items that can tarnish also come with an airtight baggie and anti-tarnish swatch for storage. You can find additional care info in each item's details.

Silver jewelry can be polished with any commercial polishing cloth. I don't recommend liquid cleaners as this will remove the detail oxidation.
