Frequently asked questions
How do I download my files?
A desktop or laptop computer is required to edit templates, You cannot use a Phone or Ipad device.
TEMPLETT FILES:
1. You will receive an email shortly after purchase with a link to access your template within minutes of your purchase.
Be sure to check your spam folder.
2. Edit your templates and save your work.
3. Download your files in a variety of formats (PDF, JPG and PNG) for your printing purposes.
ADOBE READER DC PDF FILES:
You can find a link to your file on the email receipt from Etsy, or follow these steps to download it:
• Go to the top right corner of your Etsy page and click on “You” — a dropdown menu will appear.
• Select “Purchases & Reviews”. Find your purchase, and click the blue button that reads “Download Files”.
What CAN and CANNOT be edited?
TEMPLETT files.
You can:
• Edit ALL wording (unless noted otherwise)
• Edit font style, size, and color
• Change, delete or add background
• Add pages (great for adding backside)
• Upload your own images
You can not:
• Change size and orientation of the template
• Edit the colors of the artwork (unless noted otherwise)
Can I Try the TEMPLATES before I purchase them?
Each listing contains a link to try the specific template before purchase in a 'demo mode'. All of the editing features in the demo will be the same as the purchased version. However, you will not be able to save or download the template while using the demo. You can see if your text will fit your purchase as you want.
Where to print?
Our files are designed to be easily printed at home, home printers can provide great quality and cost-effective finish for your files.
Printing professional:
• Copy centers such as Staples, OfficeMax or FedEx Office
• Online or a local print shop such as Prints of Love - https://printsoflove.com/plusoneprint/
• Photo labs such as Walgreens, Costco or mpix.com
We offer the following download options that allow you to print ANYWHERE!
• PDF - for home printing, copy center or a print shop (use the "save paper" option to format multiple templates on 8.5"x11" or A4)
• JPG - for photo lab or print shop
• PNG - for text, email or social media sharing
What CARDSTOCK do you reccomend using?
The type of cardstock really depends on the style that you are going for, for your event:
It's best to print on thick card stock. We recommend 100lb or more. Most home printers will comfortably print on around 80lb card stock, however you will need to check your own specific printer guidelines to make sure.

For an affordable option, we like the Staples brand 110lb card stock.
I do not have access to my email anymore, what can I do?
If you do not have access to your email or are unable to locate your TEMPLETT email, you can still access your template.
1. Go to templett.com/design.
2. Enter the email address from the order, and press continue
3. Then click on the "you don't have access to this email?" link. You will then be asked to enter the Etsy order ID - this can be found on the order receipt in your Etsy purchases list.
4. Once you are logged in, you will be able to update your email address under user settings.
Do you offer custom orders?
Sorry, unfortunately, no, we are not providing custom design orders OR alterations to current designs at this time. Our files are completely formatted for editing by our clients.
Please read our listings carefully (including all pictures) and ask any questions prior to your purchase.
I only received an order confirmation from FancyPaperieShop and didn't receive an email from Templett, what do I do?
On the off chance you didn't receive an email from Templett immediately after purchase, please check your junk mailbox as it may have been filtered as spam. Or this may happen because the customer signed up with Etsy using their Apple ID and chose not to share their real email with Etsy. If there's no email present please contact us to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, sometimes technical problems do occur on our side but we will investigate them and get your template to you as fast as possible.
How do I print multiple templates per page in TEMPLETT?
To format the file with multiple cards on a page, you will need to adjust the settings when downloading the PDF file.
1. First click on the download button in the top right and select PDF.
2. Then make sure you turn on the "show trim marks" and "save paper" options - this will arrange as many templates it can fit on a 8.5"x11 or A4 page.
3. Select 'Create PDF'. This will generate a PDF page with multiple templates and trim marks included on the one page for you to download and print.
