Organic Tulsi is perhaps the most popular tea in India. Also known as Holy Basil, it is a sacred plant in Hindu culture. This Tulsi combines three different varieties: Rama, Krishna and Vana in one very fragrant tasty blend. The tea is thought to have MANY beneficial effects. Many people use it as an adaptogen (meaning it can help people be more resilient under stressful conditions). Although some sources online claim that Tulsi is energizing, I sometimes find it relaxing. Again, that may be because of its adaptogen qualities which may affect people differently depending on their needs at any given time. It is cooling energetically. It has a delicately aromatic flavor—somewhat like clove, anise and vanilla. I don't add any sweetener to it but you might feel differently. It blends very nicely with a variety of other ingredients. Try Hibiscus or Mint or emphasize the spice scent with a touch of Cinnamon or Ginger. I also highly recommend it mixed half and half with my Pink Goddess Blend —great for stress reduction! https://www.etsy.com/listing/202408665/pink-goddess-womens-herbal-tea-in-a-bag
Your tea will come in a kraft paper tin tie bag with a handwritten name on the label.

Always consult with a trained medical herbalist or medical professional (not me) if you have an ongoing health condition, especially if you are taking medications. Herbs can increase or interfere with the use of some medications (that can be dangerous). Some herbs are not recommended in pregnancy or while breastfeeding. People who have allergies to certain plants should be aware that herbs in the same family could trigger those responses. Try a little before drinking more, monitor how you feel as time goes on, and only drink it if you like how you feel.
