Green Bee KC is the home of premier, quality, 100% cotton, pre-shrunk, screen printed towels from the heartland.

Rena Krouse is not only Green Bee Tea Towels owner but she is the director of design at this amazing Kansas City Company. Rena started her maker journey selling vintage home goods and accessories. But she quickly realized that she needed a more creative outlet that selling vintage could afford her. That’s when she was stung by the creative bee!

Since her first line of cotton Pyrex inspired tea towels, Rena knew that she belonged with the maker community of Kansas City. Her creativity flourished and the company’s designs quickly expanded. Screen printing became Rena’s passion and as the company grew the focus has became clear. Green Bee strives to create products that are not only beautiful and fun but that are also functional and durable.

The company now employs three talented and dedicated team members.

Emmi - more than just an assistant, Emmi is Rena’s righthand lady. Emmi works tirelessly day in and day out in the studio. In addition to hours of printing Emmi provides support for craft shows throughout the Midwest.

Bri - these days any maker can tell you that an Etsy presence is imperative to be successful. Bri handles Etsy listings, printing out craft show schedules and much of the companies social media.

Mary - every great team needs outstanding quality control. Mary not only handles tasks like washing, drying and ironing towels but she is also making sure that items are up to the high Green Bee KC's standards.

The Green Bee KC team works hard to ensure that each and every product is special and unique. All Green Bee KC towels100% cotton. The tea towels are all pre-washed and pre-shrunk. They require no special care. Should the need arise, bleaching and stain treating are ok.

As a reminder, due to the fact that all items are handmade, no two items are ever exactly alike. Each item will have slight variations in size, texture, and graphic placement.

All towels are a 100% cotton white towel with hanging loop measuring approximately 28” x 28”.
