Dedicated to improving the outlook for the majestic elephants of Sri Lanka, Maximus have their workshop in the grounds of the Millennium Elephant Foundation (MEF). MEF are a wonderful small charity that provides care for sick, old, and disabled elephants.

Frequently asked questions
Do you accept custom orders?
Sadly not. We work very closely with our Fair Trade communities to create and design all of our products. To try and make our process as sustainable and efficient as possible, we make each product in large quantities. For this reason, we do not accept individual bespoke orders for customers. We only have the products available as you see them advertised.
Where can I find your sizing guide?
All our measurements are stated in the item details section. Please make sure you check the size and unit of measurement before placing an order. If you still aren't sure, send us a message. We are happy to help!
Anything I need to know about delivery?
We aim to dispatch all orders within 1 working day and everything is sent tracked.
- UK Standard via Royal Mail (2 - 5 working days): £3.95 depending on the items in your order. Orders over £30 qualify for free standard delivery. Enter code FREEDEL30 at checkout.
- UK Next Working Day via DPD: Order before 2pm - £6.95
- UK Saturday via Royal Mail: Order before 2pm on Friday - £9.95
Sending internationally? Royal Mail aim to deliver internationally within 7 working days, but it can take up to 14 working days. All orders delivered outside of the UK may be subject to customs fees. We cannot be held responsible for delays due to customs.
Do you offer expedited delivery / delivery upgrades?
Yes!
If you are within the UK, we offer optional Next Working Day and Saturday delivery.
If you are not shipping the item to the UK, we ask that you contact us first to see if we can arrange expedited delivery. This means we can work out the best rates for you and if it's realistically possible, based on when you would like your item(s).

What's your return policy?
We are happy to offer our customers a 90 day return policy for any products (unless personalised) in its original condition with proof of purchase. We’ll exchange or refund it, as long as it meets our terms and conditions explained on our Etsy storefront.
By original condition we mean:
- you’ve kept all original packaging and labels in good condition and the product can be resold at full price.
- you haven’t used the product.
If you return the item(s) within 28 calendar days, we will provide a full refund which includes the delivery fee you paid.
If you return the item(s) after 28 calendar days, we will refund you excluding the delivery fee you paid. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Can I track my order?
All of our orders are sent with a tracked service as standard for that extra peace of mind. You will receive a tracking link in your dispatch email. Alternatively, you can track your order via your Etsy account.
If you’re unsure about the tracking information provided, and there isn’t a known disruption to the Royal Mail or DPD service, please contact us.
Do you offer free UK delivery?
We currently offer free UK standard delivery on all orders over £30. Enter code FREEDEL30 at checkout.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer free international shipping at this time.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Sending as a gift? Everything we send comes in lovely recyclable packaging, with the option to add a gift note at checkout (printed on recycled, textured A6 card with our branding).
Also, make sure you mark the order as a gift as this will remove the prices on our packing slip.
We offer an in-house gift-wrapping service or you can purchase our beautiful handmade gift wrap and gift boxes to do this at home.
