5 out of 5 starsAfter years of owning a small boutique offering fabulous artists’ cards, I am aware how difficult it is to find beautiful cards of high quality. So happy to order from Laura!

5 out of 5 starsLaura: How could I, living in Chicago, not get this one, when I realized it was an allium. I couldn't. So, now it will hang on a wall below another painting in which the allium figures prominently. And, again, this one also shows your instinctive eye re color and pattern and blocking. A FINAL NOTE ON THIS TRIO OF PAINTINGS: As I noted in another conversation: "I think of many of your pieces as being a "chicken or egg" conundrum: Which came first, the color choices or the pattern/blocking? Or, did they arrive together in your mind and onto the canvas? Though, for me, in the end, as with all art I have bought or that I like, the process doesn't really matter if I like what I see. And, with these three, I definitely like what I'm seeing." Thank you for this one, too. Karen Callaway

5 out of 5 starsLaura: I also love this little bird---which, of course, also shows your instinctive eye re colors and patterning in its body and in the background. I'm so glad I went looking through all your original art and found this---and the other two, too, of course. It caught my eye first because I'd never seen an animal. Then I looked closer at its body and realized: "There's her instinctive eye---just subtler, re coloration." Thank you for painting this one, too! I'm delighted this also was still available for me to buy. Karen Callaway

5 out of 5 starsLaura: This is so wonderful!!! My monitor did, indeed, show the colors accurately---just not the amazing vibrancy. I am completely enamored of this one. I think it is my favorite of the three: Your color choices and their juxtaposition, the patterns, the color blocking---everything. As I have noted in conversations with you---and it bears repeating here, in public---I think you have an instinctive eye. ALSO: Thank you for explaining why you included that representational "grove" on the top left: I like knowing it is a bit of your past art set amidst (and leading to) your current art. And now the title "Transitions" makes perfect sense. Again, thank you, Karen Callaway

5 out of 5 starsLaura: This is delightful. It hangs on the doorknob of the bookcase where my collection of sea urchins safely live. By the way: I chose the blue one because blue is the color of the ocean, which is where sea urchins live. Karen

5 out of 5 starsLaura: Wow. Just, wow. On getting this, I see why you are so enamored of the paints. There is no way any computer monitor will capture the shimmer of the water via the paints. Can't wait to get it framed and hung. Karen
