DETAILS:
Size of each swatch varies but is usually about ~4x4 in. (~10x10 cm.)

Samples are perfect to see the color and texture of the fabric in person prior to purchasing the actual pieces / lengths - but pattern repeats are rather large, so regular samples (particularly of damask fabrics) may not show a full repeat / scene - although we always try to include a significant portion of the pattern. If you are looking to see a specific part of the fabric, please contact us - if we have it, it is yours!

Please note: Very rare and limited fabrics may not be available for full size sample.

HISTORY OF OUR TICKING FABRICS:
Since the 1800s, and for about 100 years, fabrics for mattress covers were manufactured across Europe with special characteristics. We have a vast collection of these unique fabrics that we continue to expand. In our shelves you will find everything from the classic Spanish jacquards to the bold stripes of the Nordic bolsters, as well as French traditional Coutils. From the softest antique cotton ticking to the strongest and most beautiful tow or the warm wool of northern pillows. This type of textiles really are the last ones with these genuine and unique characteristics in Europe.
