There is something about Risograph printing that is instantly gratifying. Most of my artworks take up a lot of time. I work from a sketch to creating a screen to making prints to sewing up a new thing to create an original textile artwork. This print, however, was quick and intuitive and the whole process is just way too much fun to not go through it all again.

These are limited edition - once the screen is used, it's discarded.

With that said, Risograph printing is one of the most environmentally safe ways to print. The screens are made of banana paper and the inks are soy based. Cool, huh?

Watch out for more of these characters in the near future. She's complex and that brain space is filled with all sorts of things, as changeable as the weather.
