Announcement    I recently had to increase shipping costs as it is eating quite a bit into any profits. My apologies but it was unavoidable.

Please check out timberheaddesigns.com for more.

Let me know what you would like your stand to hold and I'll make it!

I use only top quality materials and sand everything endlessly.
When able to, I mill most of the lumber myself.

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

Wood should be waxed occasionally with butcher's block wax or mineral oil.

If foot or magnet becomes loose, use CA glue (super glue) sparingly.

If necessary, sand up to 600 grit and wipe with a damp paper towel between grits.

What size holes?

I can drill or route just about any size hole that you'd like. Routed holes require a flat surface to route on, a template and will add to the cost depending on configuration.

The most common holes I have done:
8mm for tools

10mm for vapcap mouthpiece or capless tip, glass stems, water pipe adapters and magnets

11mm for vapcap cap down, tools and some glass stems

13mm for glass and some custom stems

14mm for water pipe adapters and stems

18mm water pipe adapters and stems

25mm carb cap

28mm for RBT splinter and splinter z

1/2" for magnets

1 1/2" for some mods

1 3/4" for some mods

These holes require a flat base to route cleanly:
2 1/4" for log vapes and some grinders

2 1/2" for grinders and water pieces

Custom and personalized orders

If you want a custom stand that you don't see available here, please contact me with details about your needs.

What is the turnaround time for unfinished pieces or custom orders?

Turnaround time on unfinished pieces is usually a day or two.
Completely custom pieces will be a bit longer but will be completed in under a week.

Do you only make Dynavap related stuff?

Heck no!
I am totally open to whatever you want!

What type of inlays do you use?

I only use top quality, real inlay.
I will never order cheaper material for the inlay stone/metal.

How strong are the Vapcap magnets?

I have three different size magnets with varying strengths.
The standard 1/2" wide x 1/8" tall magnet is the weakest but still works well.
I also have 10mm wide x 5mm tall magnets that have more strength and the same width as a Vapcap tip.
The largest and most powerful magnet I stock is 1/2" wide x 1/2" tall.
These are the most expensive and most powerful.

Why do you have so few sales on Etsy?

Currently, most of my sales are through Instagram where I am the most active.

What do you finish your pieces with?

All pieces are finished with mineral oil and carnuba wax very similar to a butcher block (food safe) finish.

To maintain the piece reapply a butcher block finish (available at any big box hardware store) every few months.
