In the past 25 years dolls houses and creating miniatures play a big role in my life. Once a dolls house is done another one begins. I enjoy creating miniatures even from a piece of scrap that I find.

I found that creating my own miniatures gave me more pleasure and satisfaction. It added more details and uniqueness to the rooms of the dolls house.

Daniel who is my wonderful father and hero have always been close and shared a special bond. You can say that we both share the same hobby as well. He had his aircraft models which he paints and builds with realistic detail and I had my dolls house projects and miniature creations.

I had found out about white metal miniatures which at that time were so very new to me. When a difficulty crops up, my father comes to the rescue. I had shown him these white metal miniatures to try and paint and when he was all done with them, I was amazed what he managed to do and bring out so much detail and color.

My dolls house friends saw what my father was capable of and asked if he was ready to paint some for them. After that I started having commissions and with some encouragement from loved ones and friends I opened my etsy shop.

My father and I combined our artistic forces together and now I am happy to say that we have a busy online miniature shop. Through this I also learnt the hand painting skills that my father passed on to me.

Through my own dolls house project creations, I keep adding more to My Miniature World Shop. Being hand painted miniatures, polymer clay miniatures, decorative ceramics and miniature books which I design and make.

After building over 30 dolls house projects I am very proud to say that my dolls house collection is in a private museum and the public can visit it.
