FINNIKEE – A Somerset word for fussy, or something requiring great attention to detail.

Finnikee Design is the creative project of Becky Hayes a Graphic Designer and general craft enthusiast based in the South West of England. She likes all things weird and wonderful and loves to take items, repurpose, and bring new life to them with a variety of digital and handmade techniques.

- TIE DYE -
All the tie-dye items in the shop are individually hand dyed using alternative dye techniques, using complimentary colour combinations to create abstract patterns and unique individual pieces.

- VINTAGE ILLUSTRATIONS -
All the vintage images on the shop are created from a variety of different illustrations from the 1800s. They are sourced online or in old books and then combined together with photoshop to create new abstract imagery.

Becky enjoys the process of sourcing the illustrations then coming up with ideas of how to create new images from them. She is inspired by Steampunk / gothic imagery and likes to reflect that in her work, sometimes adding a bit of humour for good measure!
