4 out of 5 stars4 stars ONLY BC I truly feel the instructions could be more thorough. Some steps were lacking details that made it very easy to overlook parts of instructions, & caused me to make a few missteps. Look at instruction photos carefully. The 6 inch square drill bit is provided. I was under the impression I needed to purchase my own, so ended up with 2 square drill bits. I am thankful for this bc the one provided became stripped along with nearly every square 2.5” screw. We were able to switch to a new drill bit halfway through assembly to finish it out. So although yes, a 6” square drill bit is provided, i reccomend still purchasing an additional one. Aside from that, amazing bedframe, solid high quality wood, worth the money, just be sure you have patience & a partner for assembly. We’re still unpacking so bedroom messy.

Only downside was there were not very clear directions or help in adding the siding slats - required a lot of extra drilling and measuring on our part. I understand the spacing will be different based on the mattress the customer purchases but some suggestions or markers for where to drill those in would have been helpful. We ended up with some extra holes in ours after having to re-do it

5 out of 5 starsGood quality. I let the pieces sit in the garage for a few days to acclimate before sanding everything to an even 220 grit and applying Walrus Oil. Let dry for two days and assembled as instructed. Solid bed, good instructions and quality hardware included.

Custom and personalized orders
Customizing is very limited due to the amount of orders we continue to see. Usually we can do height adjustments at most. Feel free to reach out about a specific customization, and we will give a yes or no.
How long does it take from purchase to receiving my item?
Processing time varies because of how many orders I may receive in a given time period, but I hate being late! It's important that you refer to the shipping time noted in each separate listing, as this is the actual lead time.
Can you paint my item?
I no longer paint items that need to be shipped, however your item will come sanded and ready for paint. I simply don't have time, mostly due to the packaging and protection process necessary to ship painted items.
What tools are required for assembly? Is it difficult?
The tools required for assembly are found in the description of each item for sale in the shop. Most beds require a phillips (+) bit and #2 square bit and cordless power drill. You can get these square bits at any hardware store, even WalMart. I use these square bits because they won't strip out like the standard screws (+). Assembly with the required tools is fairly simple with the instructions provided and 2 people.

Are the legs removable?
The legs are actually part of the uprights. The base boards are just attached higher up on them with brackets, creating the “legs”. On most beds you can attach the baseboards at the base of the uprights if you don’t want to use legs, and then later on if you want legs all you would have to do is move the baseboards up.
