Everyone has a unique life story but trust me when I say mine is truly unique. My Name is Maria Cecilia, I go by “Ceci”. At the tender age of 7, my grand mother taught me how to sew and I haven’t put the (sewing) needle down since. Most of my sewing, crafting and pattern making came from a creative passion from within. I currently and still to this day, have been self-teaching myself in the craft for 20+ years! I am Argentinian bred, living in Orlando, FL. When I was 4 months pregnant, with my now 18-year-old son, I was diagnosed with Lupus. My form of Lupus is associated to my antiphospholipid syndrome, which is a bleeding disorder that less than 200,000 people have in the US. It is also correlated to my nephritis, a kidney disease. I have always prided myself on being a hard worker, regardless of any disease/diagnosis. From 2006 till 2021 I worked as a Certified Surgical Technician. After almost 15 years of wear and tear on my body I decided to retire from the Operating Room and focus on my passion full-time. My husband, Freddie, is the mastermind and creator of the laser and wood creations. His craft is self-taught, and I could not be prouder of him. We have been married since 2013. We are equally driven by our passion for crafting and strive for perfection with everything we create.
