Announcement    We are full-time artists with extensive backgrounds in the high-tech industry, which helps us with the technical aspects of our artwork and glass blowing. In addition, we love to incorporate science into our functional art pieces.

Since 1993, our work has produced glass art, including hand-blown contemporary marbles, Pixie Orb ornaments, and much more.

Our small organic farm overlooks the Bitterroot Mountains with several buildings dedicated to our work-from-home lifestyle. The Steampunk Shop is Rae's creative space; the Torch Shop is where we blow our glass; the Big Shop is for general mad science and Bill's electronics lab.

We are spreading love and harmony - one piece of art at a time.

About some of our products:

Vortex Marbles:

Bill and Rae make their marbles mainly using Borosilicate glass. Bill specializes in fuming techniques, and Rae loves working with Italian soft glass and murrine.

Pixie Orbs:

Pixie Orbs attract Pixie Fairies that bring good luck. The orbs remind Pixies of flowers and beautiful gardens. When they inspect the spheres, the Pixies find them a fun and magnificent treat and reward the sphere owner by bestowing them good luck. These fun glass orbs are hand-blown by Bill Grout using Borosilicate glass with webs inside to catch the light and make it sparkle in the sun. Rae creates the wirework chain, enhancing the orbs with Crystals and their glass beads.

Handblown Glass Drawer Pull / Cabinet Knobs:

These stunning glass knobs would dress up any kitchen, bathroom, entire house, or just a dresser or as a French door enhancement. Bill makes these to order, and he has about a one-week lead time for orders up to 25. He is happy to make more than 25 but may need more than one week to create them. These finely crafted cabinet drawer pulls are designed for universal use and replace standard modern cabinet knobs. They are made of borosilicate glass by Bill Grout. Standard 1" 8/32 machine screws are included, which will work for almost all applications. After the flam work process, they are annealed in a kiln run by a digital ramping controller.
