All tags will come with two split rings (a large & small) that you can use in combination or whichever works best for you and your pet.

I DO recommend checking your split rings regularly to make sure they are still intact!! Dogs tend to play rough or they could get their tag caught on something which could cause them to open up/unravel if pulled on. *Likewise, please use caution when attaching your split ring to your tag to ensure that it is not stretched open leaving a gap/any space which could allow for the tag to slip off. If this happens, pliers may be used to close the gap.

HEAVY DUTY STAINLESS STEEL SPLIT RINGS are available in two sizes for purchase as an add on/upgrade for more security. Please note, you may need pliers to attach these rings.

** Unfortunately I am not responsible for any damaged or lost tags once they are attached to your pet's collar and inspected by the buyer. *However, if there is an issue with your order upon opening your package, please message me with photos right away.

Each metal stamp is pre-made and purchased in one size. Because of this, I am unable to enlarge (or make smaller) any font or stamp design based upon the size tag you choose - either to make it fit on the smaller size or fill up more space on the larger size.

PROOFS/MOCK UPS: I have been getting this question/request a lot recently! Unfortunately since all of the tags are hammered by hand using metal stamps, I do not have a way of providing a finished preview of your custom tag without physically creating it! I do provide a full alphabet preview for each font & many photos of each design to give you the best idea of what your tag will look like once finished! :)

*If a note is left with your order requesting a change/addition/customization, it is simply a request and I cannot guarantee it will be accommodated. The best way to ensure a change/addition/customization can be accommodated is by messaging me prior to ordering!

What is your turn around time?

My package was marked delivered, but it hasn't arrived. What should I do?

I understand your concern and frustration! Occasionally, for whatever reason, USPS will mark a package as delivered and it will arrive a few days later. Hang tight and keep an eye out! Be sure to check with neighbors, especially if living at an apartment complex.

Can you design a custom tag?

I love doing custom orders! I am more than happy to work on a design that fits what you're looking for. To do a custom design, I do have to have the stamps in my collection already (so if you've seen a stamp on another tag design, I can do it!). We can work together to use a combination of stamps to get the design you have in mind.

Can I get more than just a phone number stamped on the back of the tag?

Unfortunately I am only able to stamp phone numbers on the backside of the tags. Due to their small size, I can stamp 1-2 phone numbers on the back, but unfortunately it does not allow room for phrases or addresses.

Can my phone number be stamped on the back of the tag?

Yes! All phone numbers are stamped on the back of the tags if selected when choosing the customization/size of your tag. Depending on the size of the tag blank, I can stamp 1-2 phone numbers.

Do you replace dog tags that were lost?

Unfortunately I am not responsible for any damaged or lost tags once they are attached to your pet's collar and inspected by the buyer.

I highly recommend checking your split rings regularly to make sure they are still intact!! *Please also use caution when attaching your split ring to your tag to ensure that it is completely closed and not stretched open!

I received my order, however there is an issue. What should I do?

Metal types & upkeep?

There are two metal types available for dog tags: Nickel (silver) & brass (gold).

Nickel will generally have less upkeep/is more low maintenance. Brass will develop a natural patina over time for a more "lived in" look. While the metal will not rust, all metal is prone to tarnishing over time. Please take care to thoroughly dry your tag if it gets wet and avoid prolonged exposure to water/moisture.

A polishing kit is available in the shop to get your tag looking brand new again. Using steel wool to buff, a polishing pad to restore shine, and a sharpie marker to fill in any black that's worn. Please keep in mind that all dogs are different when it comes to wear and tear, as well as the oils on their fur.
