For security reasons, and to prevent fraud, we only ship to the shipping address listed on the order. No exceptions.

Please make sure your address information is updated to prevent delays. If a request is sent via form submission or direct messaging, it will not be honored, and you will be notified of our posted policies. Failure to respond will delay start of order. No response will result in order cancellation.

This policy is put into place for the protection of the card holder, and merchant. Etsy does not offer protection otherwise.

All orders are shipped insured for your protection. In the event an item arrives damaged during shipping, please notify us immediately so we may contact the shipper to initiate a claim. The damaged item (s) will either be replaced, or refunded via the claim process. The shipping carrier typically retrieves the damaged item when a refund is requested.

All sales are final, due to the nature of made to order items. Some exceptions may apply within 24 hours of placement of an order. Cancellation fees may apply.

Defective items will be exchanged upon notification of receipt of defective item at time of delivery.

Commissions are available upon request.

Commissioned paintings are strictly exclusive to the buyer. Prints will not be made publicly available at any time. However, use of digital images of the original painting are occasionally used for gallery flyers or advertising etc. Image use is at the discretion of the artist.

Typically, 50% is collected up front on larger pieces (100% on smaller work), after the design idea is agreed upon. The balance is collected upon completion of commission prior to shipment. Commissioned items cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Changes to agreed upon work cannot be requested after 48 hours of submitting an order. Additional fees may be incurred within the 48 hour time frame, depending on request.

The significance of chicken feet and bones etc., varies from natural curios, charms, talismans, and fetish objects, offerings and cleanings, to tools of divination. One need not be a practitioner of Candomblé, Palo, Santeria, Vodoun, Vodou, or conjurer or rootworker of Hoodoo.

Items are sold as decorative pieces and are not created with specific intent, unless requested by the buyer. Some items have a specific purpose, while others are merely authentic recreations. Details will be listed in the item description for each item available. Feel free to contact us with any questions prior to purchasing.

All items are made to order,  and processing time frames will vary from item to item. We do our best to get items out as quickly as possible. However,  we will not rush the process and compromise quality in craftmanship. Timeframe details are noted in the item description and on the order purchase page.

We value the privacy of our customers. The information provided at time of order will not be shared or sold to third parties by Garden of Blood and Bone. We are not responsible how this information is stored or used by Etsy, and is outlined in their posted privacy policy.

All items are shipped from the US, within the US via USPS Priority Mail insured,  or via First Class Package  insured,  with tracking.

Alternate shipping carriers can be requested prior to ordering. Shipping pricing will reflect the specific carrier's pricing. Please contact us prior to ordering for a quote.

International customers may inquire on overseas shipping. However,  shipping from US abroad is typically much more expensive than shipping from over seas to the US.

Rush requests are considered and additional fees will apply. Extended work hours are necessary to accommodate rush requests,  in order to keep in-house orders on their projected shipping time lines. Please inquire prior to ordering to ensure your request can be accommodated.

We do not honor customer notes indicating rushes. If your order is time sensitive,  please let us know ahead of time,  and do not assume a note on your order is binding or will be fulfilled.

Items indicated as "Delivered" that go missing become an issue between post office-carrier & recipient. The claims process will need to be initiated by recipient in the event the parcel is not located.

If you live in a "problem area" & packages go missing, or are mis-delivered frequently, it is up to the customer to request signed delivery, or delivery for pick up, prior to placing an order. Additional fees apply. We are not responsible for "delivered /non-received" packages.

The holiday season can be a problem time for "missing" packages, via mishandling, misdelivery, & theft via "porch pirates".

All orders are shipped insured for your protection. USPS will reimburse you for stolen, lost, or missing packages if the mail was insured.

Please observe processing time frames prior to ordering, as most items are made to order with a minimum of 1-3 days maximum of 1-2 weeks. All items ship via USPS Priority Mail insured. As per USPS, items should ship no later than December 19th, for delivery on or before the 25th. Priority Express shipping may be requested prior to ordering, deadline for Express service is December 19th. Please note: Express Next Day is not available from shipping location, 2 Day is the available option. Priority Mail has a 2-3 day delivery time frame. Weather along transit routes can delay delivery. We are not responsible for delivery delays due to inclimate weather conditions.
