Paracord is tough and will last but with a lot of prayer use you may see a little fraying from the constant rubbing of the knots. This is the outside layer of the paracord so all you need is a lighter to burn small fraying to keep it looking good. If you decide to burn a fray part off, please use caution with your lighter. It is usually a very quick burn to remove small frays. Also, caution on not burning your paracord and leaving dark spots that will discolor your paracord. Just remember to quickly run over the fray with the lighter.

When you pray and handle your paracord rosary it becomes softer over time. It may feel a little stiff at first but the more you use it, the softer it will become. Your prayer rope will always be tough enough to carry anywhere you go.
