We are a small alpaca sanctuary in the forests of downeast Maine. We have a herd of 12 rescues that will live out the rest of their lives with us.

We Established in September of 2017 with our first 7 & added the rest in July 2018. Until we can afford a barn addition, we are maxed out. This is unfortunate as a lot of aging & sick alpacas are in need of a stable home.
With the help of our local large animal vet, we are able to give them care and love for the rest of their days.
We do our own medical treaments(with input from the kind Dr. Coville) nail trimming and daily maintenance. We have to buy feed, hay, minerals and pay someone to shear them every year, as well as check their teeth.

All of our yarn is made with the fiber from our herd, and we label each alpaca product with the name of the herd member that it came from. We use Aroostook Fiber Mill in Ashland Maine for all our milling, so the product is 100% Maine made.

This store is our way of trying to support the sanctuary & a large portion of every single sale goes directly to the maintenance of our alpaca herd.
