I DO NOT accept returns or refunds on custom work (pet portraits) or original paintings.

For other products, if it arrives damaged I can send a replacement to you. However, because these products are made-to-order, I cannot accept refunds or returns unless the product is damaged, defective, or gets lost in the mail.

Custom pet portraits are created by hand, using acrylic paints on stretched canvas. These are 100% made by hand from scratch by me. These are custom hand made products, and are one of a kind specific to your pet. So, once a pet portrait order is placed, I do not accept cancellations or returns.

If It Arrives Damaged:

I make sure to purchase shipping insurance on these items, so if they arrive damaged, you need to contact your local Post Office to file an insurance claim. Once this is done, contact me.

I include care instructions and a certificate of authenticity with every custom pet portrait I create. If you misplace this care sheet, please contact me and I will be happy to email you another one.

I do my best to make sure the colors that are on the screen are representative of what you will receive when you order the product. I have ordered samples of my own work to check quality, and am pleased that they match the work very well.

However, sometimes the colors on the product may be a little bit different than on the screen, just due to the nature of the printing process and differences in how computer and cell phone screens display color. Color saturation and lightness/darkness will look slightly different on everyone's screens. Different materials will reflect colors differently depending on their texture.

For many of my products (excluding originals and pet portraits) I use a printing company to make the products. They are shipped directly from the printing company to your door, which results in a lower cost to you and faster shipping. These companies produce high quality products; however, sometimes there are errors. If you have any problems with your products please CONTACT ME first. Most problems can be resolved quickly.

Pet Portraits and Originals:

By purchasing a pet portrait or original painting, you understand that the Copyright of the artwork is retained by me, the artist. You, as the customer, cannot make copies, or otherwise reproduce the painting on any products or merchandise, online or offline. I allow and encourage sharing on social media, provided my name (Rebecca Wang) is cited as the artist, and a link to my website or store.

What I Need From You:

Within 48 hours of placing your order, please send me 4-5 photos of your pet through email. Pick out one that you like best as the main reference, and send others as secondary references. I may need more depending on the quality of the photos you choose. Please make sure the photos are in focus, sharp, not too dark or too light, and have sufficient details (you can see hairs and fur patterns). If you are unsure if your photo is adequate for a portrait, please contact me.

The better quality photo you provide, the better your portrait will turn out. However, I will work with just about any photo, since I understand most portraits are from pets who are deceased and you are unable to get more pictures.
