1. SHIPPING TIMES & CARRIERS/SERVICES USED
See Shop Announcement for 2023 Holiday Ship Dates!
❉ Processing time is the time to make & package order. I usually ship ahead of schedule!
Shipping/delivery times begin once order is at the post office.
Typical Delivery Times by Carrier:
• CANADA 4-7 biz days (via Canada Post) *No Tracking with Standard shipping. Tracking Upgrade available at checkout.
• USA 7-16 biz days (via Canada Post) *Includes tracking for orders over $15 CAD
• USA ‘RUSH’ UPGRADE to USPS or FedEx 3-8 biz days. (only available upon request & seasonally as an upgrade Nov-Dec) **NOTE: This is couriered to Sweet Grass, MT. It's faster than Canada Post, however, returns will not be accepted if you do not contact me for return instructions! See FAQ #5 for more info.
2. DELAYED or LOST PACKAGE PROCESS
Lost packages are very rare! Please contact me if it is late. It is considered LOST if it has not arrived within the following time (from ship date):
• CANADA - 20 Biz days
• USA - 31 Biz days (20 Biz Days for USPS/FedEx)
• INTERNATIONAL - 42 Biz days
After this time if it has not shown up at your address or back at mine, your order will be re-shipped as originally ordered to the address on the order.
❉ Most late inquiries show up within days. No one benefits if prices increase as an insurance to reship items that could show up a bit late.
❉ Delays that impact the postal system may include (but are not limited to): weather, increased shipping volumes, customs, Covid restrictions, worker strikes, natural disasters or acts of terrorism.
3. DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?
Please see Return Policy noted in each listing.
❉ NO Returns/Exchanges permitted:
• personalized/custom design items
• items that have been worn or used
• toe-rings or earrings (exceptions may be granted for earrings with ear-wires - with a $4 CAD return fee*)
• ‘Final Sale’ or ‘Clearance’ items
• shipping fees
• custom cut supplies. (ie: wire ordered by length) (exceptions may be granted with a 20% restocking fee*)
• orders shipped via DYK POST (USPS or FedEx) (See FAQ #5 for exceptions)
• orders with free shipping (exceptions may be granted with a 30% restocking fee*)
• bulk qty orders
• custom design fees or deposits
• digital downloads
*Must contact me first! Returns with restocking fees will not be granted where prohibited by law.
4. WHAT IS THE RETURN PROCESS?
❉ Contact me for instructions on how to return eligible return/exchange items.
❉ Buyer pays return shipping & assumes responsibility for successful delivery of the return package. (Tracking is reccommended)
❉ Original shipping will not be refunded (unless required by law).
❉ Refunds or exchanges will only be made once the item has been received by Wire Expressions and inspected to be in the same condition it was shipped in.
❉ Refunds will be issued in CAD $ to original method of payment through Etsy (less original shipping & any restocking fees).
❉ DAMAGED ITEMS - Replacements will be made after receiving good quality photos of BOTH the damaged product AND the packaging. (Please hang onto the item as it may be requested back).
5. What is DYK POST? (USA Shipping Upgrade)
DYK Post is a courier that I use to ship packages via USPS or Fed-Ex to the USA. Packages enter the USA without delays at US Customs so it is faster than Canada Post Standard Shipping.
❉ Tracking may take 1-2 business days to update as it is being couriered to Sweet Grass, MT.
**IMPORTANT NOTE** Orders shipped via DYK POST (USPS or FedEx), that are Refused, Return to Sender, Undeliverable or Returned to the Montana Address for ANY reason will not be refunded as there are large fees to bring it back into Canada.
❉ If the order subtotal is over $50 CAD (not incl. shipping) and can be retrieved, I will consider a refund with a $25 CAD fee. Make sure your address is correct! Contact me to get the correct return address and instructions.
6. Personalization Questions:
❉ Oops, a name was spelled wrong.
If I spelled it wrong, I will ship a new name with big apologies! If you provided a mis-spelled name, you can re-purchase the name portion. Please double check spelling!
*Note: due to chain cost, only the name portion on ‘Name Necklaces’ will be remade. I will provide instructions to swap the name.
❉ Why is the price more for more letters?
Longer names use more materials & take more time/concentration to be made right first try. My buyers only pay the highest price when needed, vs ALL the time with my price formula.
❉Your names are all lowercase, can I get uppercase letters?
The FIRST letter can be capitalized, please state 'Capitalize first letter'. Otherwise, my style is to make it all lowercase ;)
7. Sometimes buyers fail to provide personalization information…
❉ If this happens, I will message via Etsy Convo’s and/or email.
• If a bead/wire color is missing, I may make the choice for you.
I will contact you once, stating the color I will use & when I will make the order. If you do not respond by that date, I will make the choice for you. It will ship within stated processing time. No refunds or credits will be issued if you are unhappy with the choice made.
• If I require a name or specific information that I cannot choose for you, I will attempt to contact you three times. Shipping may be delayed beyond the stated processing time. If I do not receive a response, your order will be canceled & refunded in full.

❉ About the artist:
My name is Kristi, I have been bending wire for over 20 years. All items come about as an expression of my creativity; everything is made with wire in some shape or form; when you purchase Wire Expressions from me, it then becomes an expression as you wear it, use it or give it away.
❉ About the manufacturing process:
Each item is handmade without a jig therefore slight variations in size or shape may occur from one similar piece to another. Tool marks may be slightly visible on some pieces. This is not considered a defect.
❉ Wire Expressions is made in a smoke & pet free environment.
❉ Wire Expressions contains small parts and may have sharp or rough edges and therefore is not suitable for young children.
9. About Wire Expressions Jewellery
❉ Does your jewellery contain Nickel?
All my sterling silver is Nickel Free! I have allergies to nickel myself and can confirm that my silver comes from reputable sources and does not of contain nickel. From time to time I may use copper, brass or enameled copper in a design piece. The metal content of some of these wires is sometimes unknown to me, however the part that goes through the ear will always be sterling silver.
