Announcement    Hello world,

I'm Blän, a Ph.D. student and certified, technology-loving nerd. I love designing things and I love printing the things I design. Even more than that I love to wear my own work. I've always loved to wear jewelry, not just because of the embellishment it adds to my look, but there's just something about the feeling of wearing a hunk of metal that makes me feel grounded like maybe this reality isn't just a big complex hologram after all.

Now, for me this whole hologram thing is a hard idea to shake - my research focuses on electric fields and materials, and let me tell you - the nature of reality is a trip.

Anyway, when I first combined my experience with art, design, and rapid prototyping, it was motivated purely by the fact that I had a concept in mind of a piece I wanted to wear every day. I needed that ring to come to life out of my dreams, I needed it to be real but the fact was, nobody made it the way I saw it in my mind. At that point, I needed to take matters into my own hands. This was my DNA double helix ring, and years later I still love the look and feel of this piece. I dream of making more designs that hold up the way that one does.

While most of my time is spent on my research, this small shop is a source of pride and a creative outlet. It's a portal through which I get to share with the world the pieces I've designed and created purely out of a desire to incorporate these elements into my own style. I made this store for me, for my own collection, and I make my jewelry the way I, as an avid jewelry lover and wearer, would want my jewelry to look and feel - solid, angular, frozen, yet somehow alive. And for those of you who have read this far and appreciate my work, I made it specifically for you. Whoever you are, I appreciate you and I appreciate your style.

Thanks for being you, you magnificent human,
- Blän

P.S. Don't be afraid to reach out about custom work, I love my customers and I would love to work with you!

I wish I could give 10 stars to this artisan! His customer service was absolutely stellar and the ring is breathtaking! This was a gift for my daughter and she loves it so much - she said it is her very favorite piece of jewelry! The precision and execution of the ring just blew her away! The detail given to the ring is singular to every other piece of sterling silver jewelry either of us has ever seen. She said she couldn't love it more even if it was covered in diamonds - this is the blueprint of life presented in the lovliest way! Thank you Blan, so very much for sharing your innovative creation with the rest of us! You have made two women very happy!

Incredible. I ordered a custom piece and Blaine was able to have it created 100%. The detailing and workmanship on this are perfect, the lines and edges are exceptionally clean and the fine grain finish is a nice touch. Very cleverly designed and well thought out. 10/10.
